Election day is Tuesday, June 7 and our endorsed candidates in competitive races need your help to ensure they make it through to the November general election.

I’ve included the state candidate GOTV activities about which I am aware for this final weekend below. Please let me know at craig@cademregion2.com if I’ve missed any and I’ll keep updating the Region 2 website.

Precinct Walk in Napa beginning at 11 a.m. Meeting at Fuller Park located at Jefferson and Oak Streets, Napa.

Phone Bank in our Davis campaign office beginning at 5:30. The campaign office is located at 131 F Street, Davis.

CONGRESSMAN JERRY MCNERNEY ICE CREAM SOCIAL IN ANTIOCH

Rep. Jerry McNerney invites you to a Pre-Primary Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 4, from 4-6 p.m. at the Office of Prime Vintage Realty in the historic Antioch Lumber Company Building, 340 West 2nd Street, in Antioch.

CELEBRATE NAPA

The Democrats of Napa Valley Club, American Canyon Democratic Club, and Napa County Democratic Central Committee invite you to Celebrate Napa on Saturday, June 11, from 4-7 p.m. at Wombat’s Farm, 2059 Curry Lane, in Napa.

Special guests include Congressman Mike Thompson and State Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de Leon.

ALAMEDA COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY CANDIDATE TRAINING ON JUNE 25

The Alameda County Democratic Party invites you to join them on Saturday, June 25 in Hayward for an intensive, all-day candidate training to help build winning Democratic campaigns in Alameda County.

Participants will learn how to organize a campaign, raise money, create a winning message, run an effective voter contact effort, and more.

This training will be held at the Laborers Local 304 union hall, 29475 Mission Blvd., Hayward, (Close to I-880). Registration is $50, and includes breakfast, lunch and all training materials.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY CANDIDATE TRAINING ON JUNE 25

The Democratic Party of Contra Costa County is hosting its 2016 Candidates’ Training on Saturday, June 25 from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Lafayette Library Community Room, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd, in Lafayette.

Thinking about running for office? Want to learn more about how to run a winning campaign? If so, we hope you’ll join the Democratic Party of Contra Costa County for our Candidate Training 101!

This eye-opening day-long training will introduce you to the mechanics of running a successful campaign in swiftly evolving political landscape. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from expert political consultants, elected officials, party chairs, community leaders and other professionals who’ll prepare you for every aspect of a campaign.

The Democratic Party wants every Democrat to have a voice in our Platform process.

The goal is to make this year’s platform process the most representative and inclusive in history. With that aim, we announced a series of events across the country in the hopes of increasing participation. We are also encouraging people to submit their ideas online.
