Action needed– support our Berryessa Snow Mtn. National Monument

There is a public comment period at the Department of the Interior regarding our local Berreyessa Snow Mountain National Monument.

This National Monument spans multiple counties, but lies mostly in Lake County. The monument is currently under a federal review by the Trump administration, which is seeking to reduce protections and open these pristine lands up to more logging, mining and commercial activities.  Comments may be submitted online, preferably before July 1, 2017, at http://www.regulations.gov by entering “DOI-2017-0002” in the Search bar and clicking “Search,” or by mail to Monument Review, MS-1530, U.S. Department of the Interior, 1849 C Street NW, Washington, DC 20240.
